Tinker Bell or Tinkerbell is a fantasy personality in J.M. Barrie's play and successive novel about Peter Pan, and various adaptations of them.
Tinkerbell is described as a normal fairy who mend pots and kettles, although from time to time naughty and malicious. At other times she is supportive and kind to Peter, for whom she actually has passionate feelings for. The restrictions in her personality are explained by the fact that a fairy's size prevent her from hold further than one emotion at a time.
