Disney princess coloring pages
The princesses to be feature in the line were selected from classic Disney movies. The characters were not selected specially for their majestic titles, but rather for how well they fit into what Disney executive deemed “the Princess mythology”.
Mulan is an illustration of this concept; she has no ancestral ties to royalty, but is still integrated in the character list. Tinker
Bell was once included under the similar principle before it was determined that she was not suitable for the " Disney Princesses mythology". She now star in her own Disney franchise, the Disney Fairies.
