 Red Cross has a lot of materials accessible for teachers, educators, and presenters to make use of to help kids and the family learn how to stay safe and sound and avoid or reduce the effects of disasters or other emergencies. 

The "Be Ready 1-2-3" material help juvenile kids, from ages 4 to 7, that can be taught all the way through activities and demonstration led by "experts" Cool Cat (home fires), Ready Rabbit (winter storms), and Disaster Dog (earthquakes).  These resources includes the "Be Ready Book" (English and Spanish PDF files) which is intended for children to use as they learn course lessons.

The "Instructor's Manual" provide tutorial plans and suggested actions for adults or older youth to use with kids and distribute the information in the agenda.
