Swordsmen
Roman Gladiators, also called swordsmen, were professional fighters in very old Rome who fought in opposition to each other, slaves and wild animals, and from time to time to the death, for the amusement of audience. These fights took place in stadiums in a lot of cities for the duration of the Roman republic and the Roman Empire.
